Siding Repair
Rot cut out, boards matched, weather kept outside
Damaged siding is rarely just cosmetic. A split board, a lifted seam, or a soft corner is a way in for water, and by the time it shows on the inside wall the sheathing behind it has usually been wet for a while. We open up the bad section, find out how far it actually goes, replace what has failed, and get the boards, the flashing and the caulking back to something that sheds water again.
Our Process
Find the Extent
We open up the damaged area and probe around it, because the rot almost always runs further than it looks.
Cut It Out
Failed boards come off, the sheathing and wrap underneath are checked, and anything wet is replaced.
Replace & Seal
New boards go on in the matching profile, with the flashing and laps set so water runs out and not in.
Prime & Paint
The repair is primed and painted back to the existing colour so you cannot pick out where it was.
