A deck is the one part of a house that is outside all year and holds people up. We build new decks from the footings, and we rebuild tired ones — which usually means the frame is fine and the boards and rails are not, but sometimes means the posts have gone soft at ground level and it all has to come out. We tell you which one you have before you pay for the other.
Our Process
Assess the Frame
We get underneath, check posts, beams, joists and hardware, and tell you honestly what has to be replaced.
Design & Quote
Layout, size, timber or composite, rail style and finish — all priced in writing before we start.
Build
Footings and frame first, then decking, then stairs and rails, squared and levelled as we go.
Finish
Boards are sanded and cleaned, the stain or sealer goes on, and the offcuts and old timber leave with us.
