Exterior Painting
Prep that lasts, in North Georgia weather
Exterior paint in this part of Georgia fails for two reasons: it went on over a dirty surface, or it went on over bare wood that was never primed. Sun on a south wall, humidity all summer, and pollen every spring will find either mistake within a season. We wash the house down, scrape and sand what is lifting, prime every bare spot, caulk the joints, and then paint — so the finish is still there in five years.
Our Process
Inspect & Quote
We walk the whole exterior, find the rot and the failing paint, and price the repairs separately so nothing is hidden.
Wash & Scrape
The house is washed, left to dry, then scraped and sanded wherever the old finish has let go.
Prime & Caulk
Every bare patch is spot-primed and every open joint caulked, which is the part that decides how long it lasts.
Paint & Detail
Body, then trim, then doors and shutters — cut in by hand, masking pulled, and the site left clean.
